Pecan Topped Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

3 sweet potatoes
3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt

Pecan Topping:

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Peel sweet potatoes and cut into 1 inch slices. Place in medium sauce pan barely covered with water. Add salt and bring to a boil. Cook until potatoes are tender. Drain water completely and mash with 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Spread in a buttered baking dish and top with pecan topping that has been thoroughly mixed. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until topping is bubbly and brown.
