Bean Soup with Ham

Ingredients:

1 small onion, chopped
2 ribs of celery, sliced
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can red beans
1 can Great Northern beans
1 cup ham, cut in bite sized pieces
1 cup water
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 bay leaf

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low 6 to 8 hours, or until vegetables are tender. Any combination or variety of canned beans goes great in this recipe. Cooking the onion and celery in a cup of water then adding the beans, ham and seaoning, makes a quick meal in about 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.
