Pretzel Jell-0

Ingredients:

2 2/3 cups coarsely chopped pretzels
3 Tbs. sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1 - 8 oz. package of cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 large package strawberry Jell-o
2 cups boiling water
1 pint frozen strawberries

Directions:

Cream 3 tablespoons of sugar and 3/4 cup margarine. Add pretzels and press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Cream together cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 small carton Cool Whip. Spread evenly on cooled pretzel crust.

Dissolve Jell-o in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries and stir until thawed. Let mixture stand in refrigerator until partially set. Pour over cream cheese mixture and chill until set.

Can be served as a salad or a dessert.
