Sugar Free Strawberry PieLots of Free Recipes |
Ingredients:
1 baked 8-inch pie crust, cooled
1 cup of Splenda®
1 cup of water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons dry strawberry gelatin
1 pint strawberries
Cool Whip®
Directions:
In a small saucepan, mix together Splenda and cornstarch. Gradually add cold water and mix until lumps disappear. Cook over medium heat until mixture is clear stirring constantly. Stir dry strawberry gelatin into hot mixture and stir to dissolve. Set aside to cool.
Arrange washed, decapped, and dried strawberries in the cooled pie crust. Pour the Splenda® mixture over the strawberries and let set in refrigerator for several hours. Top with Cool Whip® and serve. Serves 8.
