Banana Split Dessert

Ingredients:

2 or 3 Bananas
1/2 gallon Neapolitan ice cream
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Graham cracker crumbs
1/2-cup margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 pint whipping cream

Directions:

Cover bottom of 2 - 9x13 pans with graham cracker crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of crumbs for topping. Slice bananas lengthwise and layer over crust. Slice ice cream in 1/2-inch thick slices and place over bananas. Sprinkle with nuts. Freeze until firm.

Melt chocolate chips. Add margarine, powdered sugar, and canned milk. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick and smooth. Add vanilla and cool.

Pour over ice cream and freeze until firm.

Whip cream until firm; sweeten slightly. (Cool Whip can be used in place of whipping cream.) Spread over chocolate layer and sprinkle with crumbs. Store in freezer. Will keep several weeks. Serves 25 or more.
