Feathery Fudge Cake

Cream together the following ingrediants for five minutes.

2/3 cup butter
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Add and beat well:

2 squares chocolate, melted

Sift together:

2 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Add dry ingredients alternately with 1 1/4 cups water.
Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
