PECAN WAFFLES

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar

Wet Ingredients:

2 beaten eggs
2 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 teaspoon Watkins Butter Pecan flavoring

Directions:

Sift together dry ingredients and set aside. Mix eggs, milk, oil, and flavoring then add all at once to dry ingredients, beating only till moistened. Place approximately 1/4 cup batter on hot griddle. Sprinkle with 1 Tablespoon chopped pecans. Bake until golden brown. Serve with Butter Pecan Syrup. Makes 10 to 12 4-inch waffles.
